PACKAGING

The main reason I was drawn to this Snicklefritz concentrate was texture and price. I like crumble, and the price point was right for this extract. The packaging did not play a role in that decision. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the packaging, it's just blasé. Nothing stands out, the design isn’t really beautiful. I also don’t like that it’s not cardboard, because those pouches just go straight to the landfill, with no chance for recycling. The information included on the label was standard, there was no terpene information, just the standard cannabinoid info. The terpene info isn’t included, not even just a total. Terpene info isn’t essential, but I do think not including it was a detriment in this case because the flavor was surprisingly good.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I loved the texture of this crumble. It was nice and dry and malleable. It had the plastic lid, not silicon, I noticed once I got the package open. I prefer the silicone lids because hash sticks to them less, and you don’t run the risk of getting plastic in your hash when you scrape the lid for more dabs. Luckily, the texture of this concentrate is so dry that nothing stuck to the lid, so it’s no big deal. The scent is impressive for a crumble that doesn’t advertise its terpene content. A nice, sweet weedy scent was subtle but pleasant nonetheless.

EXPERIENCE

This crumble dabbed well, nice clouds, smooth, with a nice flavor. The reason I prefer crumble is that the texture is more consistently easy to dab, less wasteful, and I find the way it dabs is hoe I prefer hash to dab. This crumble was extra-dry, which made it all the more enjoyable to dab for my tastes. The flavor was lovely, it reminded me of a snickerdoodle, it had a sweet, almost cinnamony, baked good-like flavor that I enjoyed. I found it amusing that a product called Snickle Fritz tasted like snickerdoodles, but that’s just me. The high was intense and satisfying, with a strong body high that was perfect for taking it easy at the end of the day. Definitely what I would categorize as a nighttime use, but it would also be suitable for daytime for those with ultra-high tolerances who use cannabis for pain management.

OVERALL

Despite the packaging’s shortcomings, this is a solid concentrate for the price point. The fragrance and flavor are good, the texture is ideal for those of us who enjoy crumble that is dry and malleable. It dabbed great, and the high was powerful and heady. A good choice for those looking for a good bang for buck crumble.
