I bought a 7-gram bag of this flower, so a quarter ounce, which is a bit bigger than I usually go for flower. I wanted to have something to share for the holidays. The reason I chose this flower, was not for the package which is pretty utilitarian. It’s for the magnificently beautiful flower you could see through the clear package! That’s the important thing. This package reminds me of some of my favorite affordable Bordeaux bottles. It’s no nonsense, it’s Bordeaux, it’s going to be good. It’s basically just a white label that states all of the facts, just like this WA Grower. package. It’s Washington-grown weed, it looks hella pretty, you’ll like it. No fancy marketing dollars wasted, not necessary. Just the basic info. I approve. The only bummer is that the sealable plastic I-502 pouches are not recyclable.

Perhaps the reason the packaging on this flower is so minimal, is because the flower speaks for itself. As I said, I was looking for pretty bud when I bought this, and WA Grower’s Blue Hawaiin came budtender recommended for this very reason. I wanted flower that would impress guests, and look pretty in this pictures and this met all the marks. It’s beautiful and pungently fragrant. It is absolutely caked with crystals, to the point where it’s hard to see the leaf, which is typical for Blue Hawaiin when it’s grown properly. The fragrance is loud, and has a pungent, sweet, pineapple scent. I didn’t really get any of the blueberry it is bred with on the nose, but maybe that’s where the sweetness comes in.

This flower was an absolute delight to smoke. If you’re a dabber like myself, looking to treat yourself with some flower for flavor reasons, this is a good one to try. It smoked really smooth, I rolled up some joints and smoked out of a dry pipe, which are admittedly just about the harshest methods you can use, and it was still easy on the lungs. The flavor was phenomenal. All of the pungent pineapple flavor was there, and the sweetness was even more noticeable in the flavor than the fragrance. The high seemed to lean towards it's indica genetics to me. As a dabber, whenever I smoke flower I notice it has a much more well-rounded high. Not as powerful, but a little more light and airy of a high, I can’t even accurately describe it. I think it’s the terpenes. This delivered that unique flower buzz exquisitely and with a delightful flavor to boot. This flower was ideal for my low-key social gathering, and I’d imagine it would do well at any similar occasion.

This is some truly excellent flower! In addition to just personally loving this strain, I think. WA Grower really brought out the best in the genetics of this Blue Hawaiin. Fragrance, flavor, and feeling it’s all there. For those looking for a pretty, delicious flower with a nice even-keeled high, here it is
