WA Grower uses a metallic mylar bag to package their flower. Their logo and branding are sleek and to the point; there are no frills or extra decoration. The bags contain the required i502 label on the front but there is no phenotype indication, explanation of the effects or terpene breakdown.
The flower looked gorgeous through the bag, it had tons of crystals and dark orange hairs. Once I opened the bag, I was hit with a pungent pine, earthy, musky aroma– which is quite unusual for Sour Diesel. The buds were cured well and had a good texture, which made for an easy break down with my fingers.
EXPERIENCEThe smoke was smooth and flavorful but again... I was getting a pine, earthy taste, not the skunky, chem taste I expect from Sour Diesel. The initial effects were uplifting and social, perfect for a pre-workout smoke. The high was so clear-headed that I almost didn’t feel high. I ended up smoking more than normal to see what would happen and I felt the same.
WA Grower’s Sour Diesel is a great smoke, especially for the price point. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a light, productive and clear-headed high. This was definitely grown and cured well, the strain’s aroma and flavor just really puzzled me.
